All seven members of COCIN RCC Jos executive council are supporting Grace & Light’s partnership with their local churches.

International coordinator Tassie Ghata and operations manager Pofi Josiah met the executive council members at the end of May to share our focus on social righteousness and how Grace & Light works with church leaders.

One executive official was delighted to see Tassie and impressed Grace & Light is still active. They last met 18 years ago when he was pastoring a small church in Miango. Now he oversees many local Jos COCIN churches.

Support from these executives has resulted in many of their churches inviting us in to share during Sunday services, to counsel and test for HIV/ AIDS and set up Voluntary Savings and Accountability Groups (VSAG) in the churches.

• COCIN church leaders in Jos as they support VSAG groups in their churches
• COCIN congregations will be open to hearing our social righteousness message and commit to changing their lives to honour God
• Jos volunteer team leaders as they approach church pastors and schedule Sunday service visits.
