Support one of our volunteer teams and help them stay motivated through your care and interest.

This year we have a new challenge for you. We’d like to invite you to support one of our volunteer teams in Nigeria.

We currently have 18 teams working in Abuja, Benue, Cross River, Bauchi, Adamawa, Gombe, Taraba, Plateau, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Kogi states.

They would love to connect with you, sharing the highs and challenges of their work and also their prayer needs.

Each of our teams has between 8-12 people who give at least a day each month to visit churches.

During the visit one person shares Grace & Light’s vision and encourages the congregation to apply the gospel to the whole of their lives.

Each visit we find many people become Christians for the first time or rededicate their lives to Christ.

After the service all who want to receive counselling and are tested for HIV/AIDS.

Those who choose to can join life-sharing groups for ongoing support and commitment.

Volunteering is a demanding role on top of full time jobs. It is difficult for the Jos headquarters team – just eight people - to provide encouragement to all teams.

With your support we can provide this encouragement and keep volunteers motivated as well as committed to visiting churches.

We’ll ensure you received regular updates on what your team is doing, the churches they are visiting and prayer requests so you can pray specifically for them.
