New teams in Kogi State

Newly established volunteer teams will be training in Kogi State at the end of July before beginning church visits in three areas of the state where Grace & Light currently does not work.

International coordinator Tassie Ghata visited the town of Anyigba, in Kogi State, from 13-16 June to meet local church leaders and share our vision during a seminar.

“Every one of the nine pastors we invited came to meet us and hear about the work we do, our concerns, why we started and how we hope to work with their members,” explained Tassie.

“We asked each church to provide two volunteers who we will train for the work, and they took letters back to other churchs in their towns and villages. We’re delighted people are volunteering and we will be able to begin working in the area.”
