World Aids Day celebrations in Jos highlighted achievements of the many organisations working towards zero deaths and the power of stigmatisation.

Over 500 people in matching shirts and hats joined the rally including Grace & Light volunteers and staff.

Starting from the Plateau Aids Control Agency offices in central Jos they walked together through the city to the conference centre where lectures took place.

“It was exciting for us to be part of the bigger Aids and HIV efforts in Plateau State and to hear the new themes zero Aids related deaths and zero stigmatisation,” said Grace & Light international coordinator Tassie Ghata. “Its what we have been doing in Grace & Light since we started.”
