Prayer and financial support is growing across Nigeria as more and more local Christians become monthly donors and use our prayer letter to pray for our work.

In early May, the Jos team honoured this commitment with their first supporters event, supper at our headquarters building.

Thirty-one people attended including regular customers of the charity book shop. Many brought friends so more people were able to hear about our work and become supporters.

Chairman Mark Hopkins and international coordinator Tassie Ghata gave updates on our work and how their support makes a difference to what we are able to achieve.

“They were happy to hear about what we have been doing and that we appreciate their support. We are encouraged and will make this an annual event as it is in the United Kingdom,” said Tassie.
