Tearfund Nigeria and Grace & Light are strengthening their commitment to partnering in the gospel following an international development workshop.

The workshop, run by Tearfund for Grace & Light, explained Tearfund’s process for church and community mobilisation. It ran on 2 August for all ten of the Jos office team and eight members of the Jos volunteer team.

“Tearfund’s facilitators helped us understand that any time we want to mobilise a church we have to help the leadership team clearly see our vision for social righteousness so they own it for themselves,” said Tassie Ghata.

“This workshop brings us closer to Tearfund Nigeria and shows we are partners in the gospel in Nigeria.”

Subsequently, Tearfund Nigeria sent its country administrator to Grace & Light’s leadership conference, a further sign of the growing links between the two organisations.
